“The times are urgent, lets slow down”

In the northern hemisphere, the days are rapidly more dark then light. Moving in the way of ‘Yang Shen Fa’ or Nourishing Life Principles, would lead us to embrace this by resting more. Not so long ago, this time harkened a season of sharing candlelit feasts, storytelling and great dance gatherings. This is still possible. In these strong times it may be impossible to slow down. I urge you, even if it is five minutes, it makes a huge difference. I recently found this recipe and in support of slowing down, it will help with that!

Tart Cherry & Coco-Magnesium Gummies
Tart Cherry layer:
– 400ml tart cherry juice
– 3 tablespoons gelatin (grass-fed)
– 1 tablespoon maple syrup
1. Pour juice & sprinkle in gelatin – let bloom 20 minutes (no heat)
2. Gently heat (no boil) & whisk 10 minutes.
3. Add maple syrup, whisk in.
4. Pour into 7 seperate low lid mason jars.
5. Pop in fridge to set!
 (Wait for it before continuing to next step!)
Coconut Magnesium layer:
– 400ml coconut cream
– 3 Tablespoons gelatin (grass-fed)
– half teaspoon ceylon (true) cinnamon & cardamon.
– 1 &1/2 teaspoons vanilla paste
– 1 tablespoon maple syrup
– 7 servings Magnesium Glycinate powder
1. Place coconut cream in saucepan, sprinkle in gelatin and let bloom 20 minutes (no heat).
2. Heat on low & whisk 10 minutes while sprinkling in cinnamon.
3. Remove from heat & whisk in vanilla, maple syrup & magnesium glycinate.
4. Pour over set tart cherry layer.
5. Back in the fridge to set!
Option for Dark Chocolate layer!
– 100g Dark chocolate paste
– 1 & 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil
– Anything else you want for yummy dark chocoalate!
1. Double boiler style melt ingrediants together and pour over set coco-magnesium layer.
2. Fridge up!
Now you have 7 days of nourishing desserts that heal!
Storage in mason jars is preferable for keeping fresh in the fridge (up to 2 weeks). Option to double the recipe to make 2 weeks worth.
The ingrediants used provide the body with essential amino acids, the building blocks of our bodies (tissue, hormones, everything!). Furthermore the ingredients support restful evenings. From my kitchen to yours I wish you good health.
